Why We Built e-BGX
The idea for e-BGX was born from firsthand experience of the frustrating Bank Guarantee process. Our founders, working in infrastructure finance, saw businesses lose contracts because BGs couldn't be arranged in time.
They saw MSMEs pay premium rates because they lacked bank relationships. They saw CFOs struggle to track guarantees across multiple banks.
e-BGX was built to solve these problems. Drawing inspiration from TReDS (Trade Receivables Discounting System), we envisioned a digital marketplace where businesses could access multiple banks with a single application.
